Homecoming Festival to Honour Late Founder George ‘FIJI’ Veikoso

Homecoming Festival Fiji will go ahead as planned on September 5–7 at King Charles Park in Nadi, as a heartfelt tribute to the late George “FIJI” Veikoso the beloved founder, musician, and cultural icon.

Following his recent passing, the Homecoming team, together with FIJI’s family and estate, has chosen to continue the festival in his honour celebrating his legacy, his music, and his unwavering commitment to unity and Pacific culture.

“This year’s Homecoming will be a powerful tribute to FIJI,” organisers said. 

“We invite fans, friends, and the wider community to join us in remembering his extraordinary life and the impact he made on music across the Pacific and beyond.”

The full artist line-up will be announced on Thursday, 14 August.

The Homecoming team also extended its gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. “FIJI’s vision continues to inspire us, and we remain committed to delivering an unforgettable festival in his name.”
