n 2022, Farzana Yaqubi was violently murdered by Kanwarpal Singh, who had stalked and threatened her for many months. Farzana’s best friend, Annaliese, shares their story of friendship, the stalking, and Farzana’s murder. Nearly two years on from Farzana’s tragic death, a bill making stalking illegal has been introduced to Parliament and passed its first reading. This proposed new law is yet to be defined or implemented.

Highbrook Living Limited plans to build a housing development at the landmark power station site on Sparky Rd, near Ōtara.
